Families who have a child up to the age of 5 with a serious and complex health condition will be eligible for our nursery project. Read this section to find out how the Laila Milly foundation might be able to help you and your family.
The aim of the charity is to provide day care for children with serious and complex conditions, aged 3 months to 5 years. We will also work with parents on education and care skills, teaching parents different caring methods, also allowing parents to return to work or for parents to have a rest. Once the nursery is up and running we would like local and central government to be involved for the funding of extra staff.
Anyone can make a referral to the Laila Milly foundation as long as it is with the knowledge and permission of the family involved. A referral can be made either in writing or by telephone. Following a referral, an assessment visit will be arranged and the families individual circumstances discussed. Once the assessment is complete, if appropriate, our services will be organised and provided.
